AppSheet Newsletter

August 2017 - present

Every week, I send out a newsletter to active app creators. At first, we had the segmentation such that I would send it out to over 200,000 addresses. We've since narrowed the scope to people who are more actively engaged with AppSheet, so currently it goes out to 40,000 addresses. In each newsletter, I choose blog posts, feature updates, and video demos to include. I often write the short description for each item and I always write the summary at the beginning of each newsletter. I have had the opportunity to practice my subject line writing and I do analysis with the data collected in MailChimp to determine what type of content leads to the highest click-through rates. I started adding videos to each newsletter recently and click-through rate has increased.

The newsletter below got a click-through rate of 2.6%.
